Lab79 proudly presents the brand new solo album “Lazarus” by Reain.

From battling with the Jump Off, to featuring in the EOW Championships, to releasing some solo projects with Boom Bap Professionals, Dopeshit Records in Switzerland, and featuring on the cult classic Rhyme Asylum albums, Reain then took a break from releasing music. After some years, Reain linked up with Lab79 and first featured on Notez after getting a call from long-time friend and fellow Lab affiliate Skirmish (formerly of Rhyme Asylum).

Reain has since featured on other Lab79 singles including the recent SALT. Now he has ventured into releasing his first solo album for a number of years with the full backing of the Lab79 collective, “a brand you can trust.”

Reain kept the production in-house, which emphasises the personal touch of Lazarus, his story. Manage provides most of the production with beats also from close and longstanding friends K-Zen, from Reain’s first crew Lynx Eyed, and Mr Wrong, based in Switzerland - another French Connection. Kay Milli also offers up a nice 140bpm banger - stay tuned to the very end.

Reain’s been on a journey and Lazarus is a part of a true and a long story. Be open, be inspired, be challenged, be blessed.
